I plugged this hard drive into my computer to put some songs on it for the second time. It was standing up on my desk, I knocked it over on its side, still on my desk. It wasn't a particularly jarring or serious fall, enough that you would think it would be fine. However since it was in the middle of uploading music from my computer it starting making this strange beeping noise, erased its hard drive completely and will no longer be recognized by my computer. I plug it into my computer the same way I did the two times it worked, and nothing. Everytime I turn the mediamate hard drive on it makes the beeping noise for a few minutes, then just continues to not work for anything but the setup menu, which has no fix to this problem.
